Biography

Aynur OZBAHCE, PhD in Agricultural Engineering (Ph.D.-Agricultural), currently Professor of Horticulture and Breeding. OZBAHCE, who also served as the Director of the Ankara Soil Fertilizer and Water Resources Central Research Institute between the years 2013-2020 in Turkey, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. She received the “EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Excellence Award and Certificate three times in the years of 2017. The Institute became one of the "EFQM Global Excellence Index" organizations in 2018 with the gains it has made with total quality during her duty as a director. She received the "Expo 2016 Corporate Project Special Award on the Theme of Sustainability" with the "I Protect My Future" Social Responsibility Project under the auspices of First Lady Emine ERDOĞAN. During her term as Director, the Institute developed the first “Electric Tractor Protype” of its country in 2019. Recipient of the "Turkey-TUBITAK Scientific Publication Encouragement Award". Received 8 awards from different institutions and organizations. Numerous national and international publications. Aynur OZBAHCE's research focuses on water constraint in vegetables, water-yield-quality relationships and stress physiology.
